The fun continues.......

James' company, Sharebuilder/ING Direct has moved their offices from Bellevue to Seattle. As a result, the employees have been treated to tourist activities in Seattle to help promote their brand in their new city. They all don their orange t-shirts that read, "Bringin' the Street to the Square" meaning bringing a bit of Wall Street to Pioneer Square as the new office is down on King St. They took the Duck Tours around the city wearing their orange shirts a few weeks ago.

Well, last night was family night at the Mariner's game. We all donned our orange t-shirts and headed to Seattle. We toured Jim's new office, which is beautiful, we were treated to a lovely summer picnic dinner on a private patio at Safeco Field which included Mariner Moose sightings! During the game itself we were in a sea of orange as we watched the M's play. Now, unfortunately they did lose a high-scoring ball game. However, Ken Griffey Jr. hit a home run which was the 5,000th home run in franchise history, so it was a historical time to be at the Safe.
A great time was had by all and we arrived home and exhausted from all the screaming, cheering and eating around 11:30pm. It's tough being pampered!!

Weird, I could totally smell the ballpark when I was reading that last bit.

Oh wait, that was just a stiff southerly wind. :)
