Blue RoomWe have been taking advantage of this beautiful weather by getting some projects done around the house and yard. James and his Dad are building a 12x16 deck off of our French doors. Our neighbor Mark has been consulting here and there on that project as well. Ian has been wanting his bedroom painted blue for some time so I finally got to that project. I have to be in a painting type of mood. The sunshine and some music helped motivate me to finish. I was very apprehensive about the blue color but now that it's up it is like a permanent cloudless sky in our home. Who can argue with that living in the Northwest? Not me! Anyway, it turned out quite well and we are all very pleased with the look of it. Especially the tenant of that room. Summer is winding down and we always hate to see that happen, but we are grateful for the time off and have had a wonderful, restful time.
