13th Birthday

Colette turned 13 years old on September 17th. She had a wonderful party with 5 friends, pizza, cake, popcorn, soda etc....A good time was had by all. We have no idea where the last 13 years have gone, however what we do know is we are thrilled she decided to join our family and she is a joy to have as a daughter! She has always been a precious child to raise and we couldn't be more proud of her. Many more happy birthdays to you Colette!! We love you!!

Back to School 2010

Ian and Colette started school today, 9-2-10, in the 10th and 7th grades respectively. Every year I think how big they look especially when I look back at last year's photo. If you scroll back through my blog and look at last year's picture, you will see what I mean. Anyway, they have both grown in many ways this summer. They continue to take on more responsibility at home and in the community. Ian volunteers every Saturday morning at the Humane Society in Factoria, a job he loves!! Colette made money walking our friend's dog this summer! They were both excited to start this new school year and Ian is looking forward to being a member of the symphonic band and having a weight lifting class. Colette is very excited about her new art class and her guitar class. I can't wait to hear about all of it!
