This weekend Colette reached another milestone of many American kids. The braces. The anticipation seemed to be worse than the reality and she came out of the ortho feeling proud of herself and her new pink and purple bands. She already has color schemes in mind for six months out. What great problems to have at age 10! I will try to get some pix of Ian up here as I see we have many of the little girl but not many of the big boy. The flip flop between staying a boy and asserting his independence is a day-to-day occurance. "Mom, you are embarassing me!" is now a common lament at our house. I just wonder how I can embarass someone sitting in my own living room. I will try to capture that on film and pass it on.
