Ian and Colette started school today, 9-2-10, in the 10th and 7th grades respectively. Every year I think how big they look especially when I look back at last year's photo. If you scroll back through my blog and look at last year's picture, you will see what I mean. Anyway, they have both grown in many ways this summer. They continue to take on more responsibility at home and in the community. Ian volunteers every Saturday morning at the Humane Society in Factoria, a job he loves!! Colette made money walking our friend's dog this summer! They were both excited to start this new school year and Ian is looking forward to being a member of the symphonic band and having a weight lifting class. Colette is very excited about her new art class and her guitar class. I can't wait to hear about all of it!

10th grade?!!
I still remember the day in mimis dining room when you looked forward into time and figured out that I would graduate in 1990. Seemed so far away.
It was.
Now I just had my 20 yr reunion and Ian is in 10th grade and Colette, the wee babe, is in 7th.
